Playing golf with him on Friday, weirdly he's never allowed me to drive any of his cars, I keep asking for a go in his GT3 but he just won't let me.

Garage List
Not sure about the lowered stance, but great car.

Loved my 335i, often thought you never really needed anything faster on the road, but nowhere near as theatrical as the M3.

That's it, you don't really need anything faster. On a nice flowing road in this, you can short shift between 3 and 5krpm, where you'll be making less power than a 335i, but have a lot more theatre. Plus, the way it turns is much more engaging.

Probably too loud for some, but the below vid has a similar exhaust mod as mine. It's quite loud on cold start and full throttle, but once the idle has settled you can hardly hear it, and you can't hear it cruising, only when you start to squeeze the throttle.

Perfect! Just how a powerful car should sound.

Congratulations!

…and it's visceral within the speed limit.

My most enjoyable car previously was probably my S2000

This really resonates with me - the S2000 was so much fun whilst inside the speed limits!

Enjoy!
