No problem. I'm also preparing to do a lot of retrofits. Making a lot of research, buying parts, making wiring drawings and etc. The fun will start in second half of February

Good Luck! I have retrofitted:

  2. Change screen from 6.5 to 8
  3. Auto diming mirror

If you need anything regarding this options please let me know.
Have a nice day

Hi all! Having some progress today. Sunblind is working (manually) I got from amazon a reverse polarity switch to find out if it’s working and YES, IT IS!

Next step does it automatically switching REM and pressing it from drivers switch buttons. That’s my next issue. Once I swap switch from mine (1) from new one with sunblind option (4) it doesn’t work (No function at all, no button works).
The only function performed is that driver side mirror tilts down when i plug it. I did some research and as far as I understood is LIN controlled. So, would it be a matter of FEM coding? What I’m worried about is that pin out is different. Hope you can help me

Right now i have basic configuration ( NO power folding mirros) and must change to high configuration with power folding mirrors and sunblind

BTW what SW are you using to have all this info? It's amazing
Tks again!

Analyzing schematics unfortunately I won’t be able to retrofit sunblind using S35 Switch driver’s door with the sunblind option (right now is working using an external switch) due that a I have basic mirror configuration (manual seats, no power folding mirrors) basic mirror doesn’t support LIN as is needed in the S35 Switch driver’s door with the sunblind option.

The S35 Switch driver’s door withOUT the sunblind option uses point to point wiring to control side mirrors.

Nice learning! If you want to retrofit sunblind, you must also change power folding mirrors. I’m not sure I’ll do this in the short time.

Tks all for your help.

That makes sense now as my car has all these options and it was relatively easy to retrofit and code everything - coding was done by a garage btw.
