lol it's cool when you have them both taking off at the same time, at first you don't see that much difference, a little bit though, but once the top one reaches 150km/h, the difference becomes only greater.. cool vids!

Different launch technique between the 2, & the 335i had the traction control off.

That 328i is doing pretty well accelerating to such high speed. And it actually sounds pretty good too.

around town, 328 is a winner. For the price, it will bring joy to some drivers.

8-speed also seems to have shorter gears than 7-DCT. Looks like it hit 3rd before reaching 100kph. I bet it's pretty even with 335is. Add power pack and I bet it will fall between 335is and M3.

It's very hard to compare these two. it sounds like they were both recorded under different conditions (ambient noise, etc)

They seem quite close, up to 180km/h it's 5-10km/h difference only and then 335 starts making it up to 20. Still, 328 does very good here, didn't think it will be that good

I'm still blown away by the auto tranny. Shifts fast and has really close ratios. Not as useful with the new turbo engines but whatever. This probably worked great with the NA I6 in the 5 series while it was available. The N52 was in dire need of more closely spaced gears or at least shorter ones.

The 328i keeps giving me more reasons to go that way when the time comes. The videos, though an imperfect comparison, do show that 328i can do some pretty amazing things up against the 335i.
