Android now has expert mode but it's broken for me, clicking on a module crashes the app. Anyone else have this?

Edit: The app developer updated it and fixed

Super easy to get connected and start coding with my iPhone 7 Plus. Expert mode allows you to get everything you want using a cheat sheet for any options not already listed in the app. I did get some warnings/errors (e.g. Lighting and Chassis Stabilization) after coding a few things (even with engine not running), but they went away on their own after turning the ignition off and on, so I'm not too worried. Significantly less work than figuring out E-Sys...

Here's the full list of what I was able to successfully code on my 2015 F32 435i:

Disable iDrive legal disclaimer
Disable camera legal disclaimer
Fold mirrors when locking with keyfob, change delay to 0.2 secs
Unfold mirrors when unlocking with keyfob
Change iDrive startup animation to M logo
Display individual pressure and temperature on TPMS display
Enable Sport Displays (hp/tq)
Turn off radio when driver door is opened
Unlock driver door when ignition off
Enable digital speedometer on instrument cluster
Disable initial seat belt warning
Change seat belt reminder duration to 5 secs
Auto Start-Stop set to off by default

Did I miss anything?
Where did you find the mirror unfold with keyfob option?
These are the only options I? see.

Set “Comfort opening with key fob” to Active. It’s in the same FEM module. You may also have to keep the “Unfold mirrors when unlocking vehicle with Comfort Access” set to Active, even if you do not have Comfort Access.

I have taken the plunge to buy the "Vgate iCar 2 Mini Wifi Function ELM327 iCar2 OBDII OBD ELM 327 Diagnostic Scan Tool for iOS iPhone iPad Android" along with the bimmercode app.
So far it works very well but the main reason I bought it was to code my 328D to auto fold in mirrors when I lock the door with the key fob.
When I first tried to activate the "fold mirrors while locking vehicle on comfort access", nothing happened.
I contacted the developer and after a little troubleshooting we found out that you need to have "fold mirrors while locking vehicle on comfort access" ALSO you have to have "comfort closing with key fob" active as well. Then it worked. (Have to hold the lock button on the fob down for a couple seconds for it to fold in the mirrors)
I also asked him if he would be putting descriptions on some of the non-obvious coding options for novice coders such as myself and he said he will be soon.
Just thought I'd share for the people that may come across this forum and in the same situation I was.

I'm pretty sure I enabled those options but I'll try again(hopefully) tomorrow as the dealer is currently replacing my ABS module.
But I think to press lock/unlock on the key fob and have the mirrors fold/unfold should be standard or at least a menu option.

This is great news. One of the few things I prefer Carly on are the helpful descriptions on all the codes. I believe some will warn you or advise you to select additional codes to make a particular function work.

Overall BimmerCode is much cleaner and simplistic with good design that works while Carly has extras diagnostic features and helpful descriptions for a complete novice to understand. Not quite as slick as BimmerCode's interface though and a bit pricey.

Hey all, new first time bimmer owner here, posting for the first time. So please bear with me if I am in the wrong post and steer me straight if I am. I've read countless forums/posts before responding here, hoping to not ask stupid questions. Several questions though but hope not to be an imposition. Just want to get my new toy set-up comfortably.
- Bimmercode vs. Carly - seems like Bimmercode is more affordable and as far as coding does just as much (seems like Carly will charge for each function once you are in Pro mode?) - am I missing something or just go with Bimmercode?
- Seems many people experience though that Bimmercode may time-out and disconnect. This sounds bad during coding, has anyone fool proofed it and if so what is the secret?
- Main things I am interested in, and seems Bimmercode can do them all, but please correct me if I am wrong:
*Turn off Legal Disclaimers
*Use FOB (and under dash button) to close rear hatch (I'm in a F36)
*Auto fold mirrors on locking with FOB (I do not have Comfort Access)
*Auto open mirrors on unlocking with FOB
*M Logo on screen at start-up
*Auto clock set (how stupid is it this is not standard?)
*Unlock all doors when engine is turned off (would be better if they unlocked when driver door opened, but I can survive)
*Turn off ASD

Then the one that I am getting mixed messages if can even be done with Bimmercode:
*Enable Enhanced Bluetooth/Office

Now that last one I should clarify. Right now, I am able to stream bluetooth music, and can use Siri from the steering controls, etc....I could care less about "reading" texts and emails, that's not safe. But what I want is for some type of SMS or text signal to "ding" or show an envelope onscreen so I know if I get a new text while driving. Then it's as simple as asking Siri from the steering wheel to "read text". Do I need to enable all of Enhanced Bluetooth to get this feature or is there a shortcut?

P.S. would be awesome if the default "speech volume" of Siri could be set higher too, everytime I restart the car it is incredibly low, but I'm not seeing a setting for that in any coding...is it there?

Thanks all!

Just got my car back from the dealership for a repair.
Connected using BimmerCode but FEM appears to be disabled. Any ideas?

Update:
I grew impatient and was concerned something went wrong during maintenance (not seeing some of the ECU's at all) and purchased Carly.
Carly found all ECUs and was able to code everything with no issues. I'm sure it's just a matter of BimmerCode dev updating their app for compatibility.
In the mean time, if you get any significant service/updates done, any Nov updates appear to break some ECU codings in BimmerCode for now.

While coding, is it a good idea to connect a trickle charger?

I'd assume it's better thank having the engine running.

You can but most people just review the codes (without the engine running) then code. The actual coding part takes no more than 30 seconds. Sometimes I start the engine if it's been about 8 mins but you don't need to leave it running.
iDrive will warn you of power cut off at the 9/10 min mark.

Unless you code for a long period of time......the battery will not drop voltage that fast.
