Help with F80 M3 seats install into F31

Hi, I am new to the forum. apologies i know this has been discussed before in other threads. But the pictures do not seem to working now and i was hoping someone could help a novice install my new interior.

I currently have a UK car F31 335d with manual heated leather seats and i have a full M3 interior to install.

My car is in the garage at the moment and will not get near it till the weekend.

I have some questions off the top of my head below. But guidance would be greatly appreciated and i am itching to get them in.

Are the connectors the same? (if no, what do i need to buy?)
Do i need to add additional wires in?
If i need to add wires where to i take the feeds from?
is there a idiots guide / diagram available?

Any help / feedback is appreciated.

Hey lomax, I'm interested in the choice of seats you made. I have an F31 330d and I have to say, the seats are not the best. A mate recommended looking at dropping in M3/5 seats. Where did you find yours and how easy was the install? Cheers

Hi, install was pretty straight forward. There are guides online with wiring diagrams. There is one though that has some of the wires the wrong way round. So it was a bit of trail and error.

Seats were off eBay, but still to get the rears modified to fit.

Only person I know who has done the rear F80 seats into the F31 is 63NP

Process is not for the faint of heart but is doable. I have the front and rear seats for about 7 months. Been kind of lagging on installing into my F31 though..

F80 seats in F30

Hi there any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.....

I've got a 2017 F30 BMW with heated seats and electrical bolsters but are manually adjusted. I've recently purchased a full 2015 M3 F80 interior and have just come around to fit it.

In the male connector block in the vehicle loom there is 4 less wires. I was wondering if any one has any experience with this.

I've uploaded the yellow connector block from the F30 and F80 seat and the connector block from the vehicle.

First time using Bimmerpost been looking at other threads but can't get any further foward......

Any help would be brilliant

Thanks
