H&R Sport Springs with wide tires - will I rub?

So I'm look ing for a bit of a drop, especially in the front where the fender gap is just atrocious. I'm currently running 245/35 R19 front and 275/35 R19 rear on OEM M-Sport suspension, non-adaptive. I have no issues with rubbing on this setup, but as I said, the fender gap is just awful. Look ing at the H&R sport springs (eventually I'll go with coil-overs but waiting for my stock shocks/struts to shit the bed).

Just wondering if anyone else has experience running the H&R sport springs with larger tires and if they had rubbing issues. I've searched all over the forum and can't find an answer.

We need to know the offset of your wheels to answer that.

I have
235/40R19 ET35 (8.5" wheels) in the front, no rubbing
265/35R19 ET40 (9.5" wheels) in the rear, rubs ever so slightly

Good to know. The Eibach pro-kit lowers more in the rear than the H&R so I should be good then.

So, mine is way lower in the back than Kefka's, but I have a 330e (so a battery pack under the luggage compartment), so that may be why.

I can hardly get the tip of my finger between fender and tire.

Anybody know what size the pass-through socket it for to remove the drop link bolt on the front strut? I watched the Kies motorsport DIY video and that's the only socket size he missed.

So I've taken off work Monday to install the H&R Sport springs, AEM meth kit and perform an oil change. I'll report back on fitment. If I do have issues I'll need to decide whether to roll the fenders or go back to stock springs. I'll make that decision based on the ride quality.

I have the same exact setup on my 435 GC and love it. I think the fenders on the GC are a little wider though. You will need to run 265s in the rear with the 255s upfront or you will most likely damage your xDrive system.

Hey thanks but I"m RWD, not x-drive. Also, I did not get around to installing these springs as the installation of my WMI kit took longer than anticipated and I ran out of time.

Confirmed...fitment is perfect with no rubbing. I have my alignment scheduled for Thursday morning. I really like these springs. Not only is the fender gap reduction a huge aesthetic improvement, but the handling and ride is much improved over the OEM M Sport springs. I was a bit fearful of the ride being too "bouncy" but it's actually quite nice. Body roll is significantly reduced and the car handle bumps very well. I highly recommend this especially if you are on a budget. Top is before pic, bottom after.

Very nice. Is that BSM black? What is your fender height? Since you are rwd I suppose your previous height was still lower than my xdrive.

Yes BSM black. I 'm not sure of the fender height but I can measure it for you. I was on M-Sport springs before so it was lower then Xdrive and sportline trim packages.

Hello, I have a 2016 BMW 328d Xdrive. Originally I installed the H&R lowering spring on factory struts but the drop killed my struts within 4-5 months. Then I installed Bilstein B8 struts and shocks on the H&R springs which is what I am currently riding. Tires never rubbed with either setup but my current set up is very stiff! I feel everything on the road. Depending on the size of bump or pothole on the road. It feels like the my suspension is bottoming out. Going to try Eibachs springs which might raise it up a bit. BTW I've got 18" factory wheels.

My current set up on my 2016 328d Xdrive is H&R springs with B8 Bilsteins. The ride is way too stiff for me! Can anyone recommend a better option? Preferably using my bilstein B8 Struts and shocks.
