Losing my Commute. Tips?

Recent job change is reducing my 5 day a week commute from 65 miles round trip to only 14 miles round trip. While I am excited to reduce my seat time I am a little worried about my 328d having issues because of this. I know CBU and not getting the car fully up to temperature could be a problem. Does anyone else have short commutes? How do you combat that with your diesel ownership?

Thanks!

I have a 14-15 mile commute, 5 miles on highway, and it gets warmed up to reach decent oil temps by the end. I don't see it as a problem. Still worth keeping the car. Give it a good beatdown on a trip that is longer to keep things cleaner, here and there.

I also do the same trip in my old Jetta TDI as well, and it's no different.

I'll be doing the same in a couple of months. I'll definitely give it some solid pulls on the weekends
