Non m sport side skirt extension

Has anyone tried to put the m sport side skirt extensions on a sport line side skirt? From pictures of the extension looks like it may fit

It probably wont work. Our side skirts curve in toward the bottom like a \_| the M-Sport has a flare the goes outwards like so /__| So I think that you might have a gap in the middle if you attach the piece. I was look at both cars as my friend has the M-Sport and I got just the sport.

I'm very interested in side skirt extensions but also have a non-M side skirts.

Has anyone tried to fit them?

It looks to me like they might fit, but I'm afraid if they don't that I would be stuck with them

I doubt it will work due to the shape of the Msport side skirts are different than the Non-Msport side skirts. It will still fit but most likely won't line up perfectly

I did some visual comparison between the M-sport rocker panels vs non-M & although these side skirt extensions are being advertised for M only I think that there's a very good chance that they might fit a non M.

See the photos below, the M ones are a little more curvy than the non M- however form the bottom (where the side skirt will install) it's almost identical. There might be a chance that they might stick out a tiny bit more than they're supposed to but nothing too crazy. I also found pictures on Aliexpress of someone installing the M version on non-M rocker panels (pictures below, the black car)

I might take a chance & order these. what do you guys think any ideas?

Does anyone know how to install these? 3M tape & screws?

I say you go for it and try it out. Will help the community out a lot! Finally clear up all the questions. Worst thing is them not fitting and returning them back. And yeah screws and tape should do it

Just found this thread following a Google search. Did anyone ever manage to try this to see if it fit properly or not?

It should work depending on what's your definition of "fit"

The length of the side skirts are the same so you can definitely mount the extension on your side skirts even if it's a non M

There maybe little details that makes it look a little odd but I'm pretty sure you can mount it on and adjust the best you can to make it look good

Love that rear trim piece. Where did you find it? Would love to put that on my stock rear bumper as well since the diffuser isn't interchangeable.
