Funny, considering the existence of the 981 Cayman GTS was only a rumor until it was officially announced on March 19, 2014...and the first official debut of the model wasn't until last weekend at the Beijing auto show when Porsche revealed the production versions of the Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS at the show...and full production of U.S. market 981 GTS models doesn't begin until July...

Almost every review I have seen in the last year or so has stated that the new Cayman has either arguably or outright replaced the 911 as the 'true Porsche'. If I were looking to buy a Porsche, I would prefer the Cayman if the engine wasn't so detuned. Is that what the GTS will be??

The 981's are true sports cars. The 991 has gotten too big and too heavy - it's more of a GT now.

Other accepted meanings of VW that might make more sense:
Viking Warrior (they're all dead right?)
Voluntary Withdrawal (quitters never win)
Visual Workstation (they usually don't move)
Victoria Winters (she probably can't run very fast)
Virtual Workspace (It's not even real...or is it?)
Very Washable (easy to clean, but not very fast)

So maybe he's on to something?!
