I am all for saving the manuals but am not so happy with my new one. Just replaced a 2007 328xi coupe with a 2014 435xi, both have manuals. I have been a little annoyed with the amount of exhaust drone at about 70-75mph (2500-2750 rpm). My theory is that the exhaust system was set up for the automatic and so at 70-75 mph the engine is at less than 2500 rpm therefore no drone. Can anyone substantiate this?
