This is the eBay seller I got it from. Looks like he doesn't currently have any of the plain polished ones for sale, but there are many other sellers that do.

Little update, had a custom exhaust built using 2 Vibrant resonators. Need to get better videos, but it sounds great now that it has broken in.

Ordered a 2TB sport shifter to replace mine. I test drove an X3 for my wife which had the updated sport shifter and it is a million times better in feeling.

Can't decide which one of the below will be my next wheels...advice?

Rotiform KPS - like the brushed details on the face, looks aggressive

AG M590 - love these but feel its a little over played

or OEM Style 230s - one of my favorite 5 spoke designs, difficult to find, might look a little boring on the F30, but this was my inspiration

I vote for the Rotiform KPS!

Ok mod update (long overdue):

4/10/17 (ish) - Had a custom exhaust fabbed up using 2 Vibrant resonators. Posted a thread with video in the Engine Mods section. Also installed OEM gloss black mirror covers.

4/15/17 - Got married

5/5/17 - Installed the SAT shifter. Test drove the X3 35i M Sport with the SAT option and the shifter felt a million times better. Got a good deal on one from Latvia. I drive around in "manual" mode a lot so its been a nice upgrade for me, but would probably be pointless for a lot of people.

6/2/17 - Early birthday present to myself - NEW WHEELS HRE FF01s with Hyper Silver powdercoat (after the tire shop scratched them up and had to fix it).....pics in the next post

Gloss black roof coming next.

Nice choice as they really suit the car.

I reckon they would look amazing if they were diamond cut though.

Thanks! I probably would like it better like that as well, but I'm happy as they are now. Plus diamond cut tends to show dirt quicker.

Run down of all the things I've done since mid-2017:
Jun/2017 - Roof wrapped gloss black

Spent the second half of 2017 dealing with leaky HRE's. I bought them second hand and the seller stated that he had refurbished them. They were true and balanced fine, but either the powdercoat was a shitty job (started flaking within a few months) or the wheels had other problems internally. Had all sorts of issues with pretty much all of them leaking air. I would lose 5-10 PSI in 2 of them every week and eventually one of them just completely stopped holding air at all.

Jan/2018 - Decided I'd had enough of trying to fix those wheels. Ditched them and got a good deal on a set of BBS CI-R's and summer tires.

Specs on the CI-R's: 19x8.5 +35 (w/ 5mm spacer +30) and 19x9.5 +40
wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sports 245/35 and 275/30

Q1/2018 - Replaced the aluminum hexagon trim with the MP trim. Get a lot of compliments from passengers on the alcantara bits. Some times with exterior mods, you don't always get to enjoy it, but the interior upgrade you get to see every second of driving. One of my favorite "mods" as it refreshed the whole interior.

Q2/2018 - Upgraded to the M3 tri-stitched steering wheel and wired up the paddle shifters which was a fun project because I learned the hard way that you should pay attention and NOT leave the ground wire for the horn touching any metal

Q3/2018 - Wife scraped the front bumper against a curb Bumper needed a respray anyways since the front had taken a lot of rock chips. Resprayed and PPF'd the whole bumper and hood. Feel much better with it being protected now. Also swapped the M3 steering wheel for the alcantara MP wheel. Was a breeze to do the second time around.

Didn't do much car stuff the rest of the year. Traveled some for the holidays and when we got back, we started preparing for a big move from Atlanta to California for my wife's job.

Jan/2019 - Just before we left Atlanta, I was due for brakes - decided to go with the red MP BBK kit, but I swapped out the dimpled/slotted rotors for Stoptech slotted rotors as I didn't want to deal with any noise issues. So far, loving this setup.

Feb/2019 - Packed up our stuff, rented a Penske truck and trailer, loaded my car on to the trailer, and drove from Atlanta to Los Angeles. Took 3 days and stopped in Tuscaloosa, Abilene, and Tuscon.

Q2/2019 - Got to LA and had to take care of some maintenance stuff over the next few months. Got the VCG and OFHG replaced. DIY'd the serpentine belt and idler pulley. DIY'd the front door lock actuators.

Got some more goodies over the last couple weeks so more updates to come! Need to be better about keeping this updated lol.

Pics to follow

So this holiday season was fun...

I shattered the front lip. Couldn't get a tight enough angle exiting a parking lot

But....I got some great deals on FBO parts! Was able to get a used BM3 license, CTS FMIC, CTS catless DP, and had an ER charge pipe sitting on the shelf. Finally went Stage 2 a couple weeks ago - so much fun! I did get a some hesitation in the middle of the power band at first, but my plugs were 15k old. Swapped to NGK 97506 gapped to .022" and all smooth now.

Also recently sold the BBSs and swapped to 437ms. Perfect fitment IMO. Pics to come.

I give anyone with a fairly comprehensive build thread credit. I have gone as far as keeping a Google Sheet updated, haha, not nearly as cool or interactive.
