Due to Benz releasing the beautiful, new C-class Coupe I would have thought BMW would look to release the 3-series coupe by the end of 2012. Test mules are already doing the laps too.
I think your CA is right. |

Supposedly they had an F32 at our local dealer. I tried looking for it but they moved it somewhere.
They say it looks like the F30 front with the F12 rear. I suppose that makes sense as the F30 has the F10 rear...

... handbreak totally ruins the interior of the car. The center console on the 5's looks so cool without the idiotic handbreak sticking out like something from a different era, the pre-electronics.
Speaking of pre-historic, does anyone know if F32 will get LED lights at the back? I'm suspect BMW will go LED on the F30s for next year model (about 10 years behind everyone else). So will the F32 have LEDs? |

LEDs probably won't come until LCI. BMW has been doing this since the E46. I think they should make them at least optional like audi/MB. But hell we can't even get standard power seats lol.

BMW made the right choice for the 3/4 series coupe/convertible by keeping the traditional handbrake... 5 series is based on the 7 chassis, therefore electric parkbrake... sadly for the M5... i agree with you on the LED, seems like BMW is lagging everyone on the electronic department, HUD existed on several other car manufacturers for more than 7 years already... it's taking BMW at least a full generation of model car before they incorporate the same technology... ... The worse is that BMW is charging extra for those "premium" item... Must be Mad as myself for willing to buy a brand new BMW... ps: by the way, Autoblog has first pics of 4 series hard top convertible...

+3 on the handbrake..
I am still not feeling this car... I decided a while ago that I was going to get this when it came out and make it the new shop car but I donno.. Hopefully it improves as the camo comes off. At this point I like the look of my e92 better.... Mike |

The German auto publication Auto motor und sport has published a render of the upcoming 4er Coupe which is highly reflective (percentage) wise of the actual appearance of the car.
The bloodline remains , but the details change... The 4er becomes more sharper in every design aspect as it embodies a very personal sporting character. The car is very much indicative of a more smaller compact 6er and a perfect evolution for the current E92 Coupe. I have included a spyshot to continue the ongoing debate which many overlook in their interpretations that it is not a 2dr 3er and that the Coupe will have a more dynamic roofline and a sportier appearance. The sharper look is reflective of why the car now becomes the BMW 4er. Acknowledgement to Automotorundsport.de

I think that it will be close to the design of the 6 just as the sedan is close to the design of the 5.
