B58 is great and turbo can give more than hpfp. For now fuel is the main limit, so max hp you'll see will be ~420-430hp.

Well... It's not as warm and I had a really poor launch but the below shows how my car is.

That is about where the stock F80s are and this is with just a tune and filter. Again great stuff. Just wonder what would put these cars into the 500 hp range. Maybe fueling,dp and fuel upgrade. Maybe someone will also come out with an upgraded coolant integrated intake manifold upgrade.

I’m still jealous that Audi RS3 and TTRS owners can get an APR stage 1 upgrade that will get their cars 540 hp out of their 2.5l 5 cylinder motors with practically no bolt ons at all.

Hopefully someone will figure out how to get around the fueling issue so that this can be easily accomplished mplished with the B58

You have to remember that APR extrapolates crank numbers from their dynos and OEM ratings. That 542 they advertise is at the crank (and it's also strictly an e85 tune). Their regular 93 octane Stage 1 is rated at 476 (again, at the crank). Considering the stock engine is rated much higher than ours, at 400, it starts to put it all in perspective. Our B58's are rated 320-335, and with just a Stage 1 Mission tune, they're somewhere in the low 400's at the crank, so the gains are actually quite similar. Apparently, however, the Audi's engine is more e85 friendly.

Don't be jealous. The RS3 is fast and has a sweet interior, but it looks like a Chevy Cruze from the side. It has zero presence.

If you want to get a B58 to 500 at the wheels, an intake, catless DP, Stage 2 flash, 80/20 meth, JB4 to control the meth safety, and a Pure Stage 1 turbo should do it. Although, I'm sure Fuel It will have a port injection solution ready soon enough, so that will cancel out the need for the meth.

Yes I know APR is using crank hp numbers confused as to whether that number pertains to E85 or 93 octane.
Will be nice to see how far guys can get fbo, stock turbo and a tune and also with a turbo upgrade for sure.
The stock turbofold will certainly limit different turbo upgrades but it is totally better than the N55 stock setup and its stock modified turbo upgrade offerings.. Again great times for you B58 guys.

Tuned B58 will take Stock S55, now Stock S55 Competition Pkg is a different story

There's a whopping 19 hp difference between the base M3/M4 and competition package. It's good for a tenth to sixty. And you may want to phrase things differently. A Stage 1 flashed x40i isn't going to beat a stock DCT M3/M4. It's gonna take at least an aggressive Stage 2 and catless DP to get to that level, and even then, it's going to be close. A stock M3/M4 is over 400 whp stock, and weighs roughly the same as a 340i.
