F34 Installation of all LED headlights
My 3GT model year is 2015, and the headlights are not all led. Now I want to upgrade the latest all LED headlights. I don't know whether it is possible to directly purchase the headlamp assembly for replacement, or whether it needs programming or replacing the driver module. Have you changed anything?

Coding will be required for sure. I've seen a section in BimmerCode that deals with Bulb/LED options for headlights. Much like another section for updating the car with LCI tail lights that are all LED. You should investigate the differences in wiring just in case. Example: LCI tail lights have the turn signal in boot/hatch/trunk mounted assemblies and require minor re-wiring (additional wires to be added).

That's mainly used for when one changes the bulbs, which is the most practical and economical option. Changing the lamps isn't inexpensive, especially as the only option with the 3GT is LCI OEM. That would also require a new wiring harness and extensive coding.
