Hello all, yes another flash thread.

Anyway i initially flashed with mhd, everything went fine

didnt like the burbles, changed them...this also went fine.

wanted to tune down the burbles as they were to much...

had issues with this flash, i can not get past erasing memory #2 (sorry if im using the wrong verbiage). It actually seems like the car goes to sleep when i get to this step. I have my seat belt plugged in so it shouldnt be. I then get a message that says:
"Flashed Stopped.
"unable to erase memory"

Now my car wont start. It does not engage the starter. The dash light up but starter doesnt engage.

I can still reconnect to the DME fine but each time i get to erasing memory #2 it seems like the car goes to sleep (despite having my seatbelt plugged in) and i get the "Flashed Stopped. unable to erase memory" again. I have a car with jumper cables supplying extra power as well. So i do not understand whats happening.

I would think my voltage requirement is being met.

Welp.....for future reference it seems my battery is a boat anchor. It was failing a load test. Even with a jump from another vehicle it couldn't maintain enough voltage. It could start the car but flashing it is another story. Flashing is power intensive as its accessing almost everything so that makes sense.

Replaced the battery and all is well. Reflashed with no issues.

It is possible unplugging car from the battery for more then 15min also helped.

yup whenever you flash always good to have it being charged ... it says it on the flash map lol
