♛ HEX Tuning ♛ Pre-release (Unofficial) Stage ONE Software (Dyno Content)

We'll just leave this right here ...

Vehicle: 2017 BMW 340i
Software: HEX Tuning - Stage ONE - 91 Octane
Dyno: Mustang AWD-500-SE

As we get closer to official release we'll post additional details
in regards to pricing, flashing process, and advertised gains for
both Stage ONE and Stage TWO variants.

For those of you who may not be familiar VF Engineering and
our HEX Tuning software brand; All of our s/w development,
testing, validation, and measuring is done entirely in-house
at our Anaheim, California.

The bulk of our initial testing is a mix of controlled dyno testing
in-house, as well as road and track testing for drivability and
endurance. Our goal is never based on targeting peak power,
but rather to find what we determine to be the equilibrium
between area under the curve and reliability on traditional
pump fuel.

You can read more about dyno testing and our tuning philosophy
in our the follow thread: TWO Dynos - HEX Tuning (click link to jump!)

For those of you who are contemplating ECU Software as one
of your first performance upgrades, you're definitely going to
want to 'Stay Tuned' for more details.

NOTE: We are still looking for a couple local Southern, CA
owners for validation and review once our development cycle
is complete. Those customers will receive an initial discount
on the product as well as FREE before and after dynos.

The validation process is based on dyno testing multiple cars
on our in-house DynoJet dynamometer so that we can then
release the official numbers based on those averages.

Here are some official DynoJet results for our HEX Tuning - Stage ONE.

Based on the average results from the last few cars we've had in-house
for development/testing/validation, we are looking at advertised gains of;
+65 - 75 Wheel Horsepower
+85-105 Wheel Torque

(on CA 91 Octane)

As you can see, and as we've discussed in previous threads, the delta gains
are VERY similar between the Mustang and DynoJet even though the
peak values for the DynoJet are noticeably higher.

Mustang - Delta Gains: 69 whp / 87 wtq
DynoJet - Delta Gains: 67 whp / 99 wtq

(both of which fall right in between our advertised gains!)

Mustang - Peak Power: 365whp / 413wtq
DynoJet - Peak Power: 373whp / 433wtq

(which is the reason why the Mustang is known as the "heart breaker")

The slightly lower torque gains on the Mustang can be directly attributed
to the higher amount of load, running in "linked, 4-wheel-drive mode".

Of course most people would prefer to boast about having the higher
peak wheel HP numbers from the DynoJet, than the more modest
peak figures from the Mustang; but as demonstrated above, the
product itself is only responsible for delivering the advertised gains and
not the peak values produced by the machine.

In either case these are very impressive gains for the B58.
Most importantly, it does not infringe on the limitations of the high
pressure fuel pump when using unleaded based fuels.

And in typical HEX Tuning fashion, we can guarantee the results of our
advertised gains (within reasonable margins for conditional variables)
regardless of which machine it's tested on, with no excuses!

We post dyno plots for every product we sell, unless we simply haven't
had the chance to validate across multiple vehicles of identical Y/M/M.

The plots we post are typically based on the "average" stock baseline,
and the "average" tuned runs to come up with a modest delta that
most fairly represents the product.

It's not uncommon to see people take the lowest stock run, presented
against alongside the highest tuned run, which artificially inflates the
delta gains.

We simply prefer to Under promise, and over deliver! which sometimes
works as a disadvantage with consumers who are highly focused on the
peak numbers, as opposed to those who take their time and do their
due diligence researching max gains / area under the curve / and
just as importantly,... consistency across multiple vehicles.
