There is a good chart here that shows the difference between the two packages. |

Thanks - I've seen this previously and is helpful. However, unless I'm mistaken - you don't have ability w/o enhanced USB to have voice command for contacts. Even the entry level X1 has this with standard Bluetooth. Can this be correct or am I missing something? Would this apply also to addresses?? Hard to believe - appreciate your assistance.

I received my production number last week and was able to get a status over the phone (scheduled for production with no confirmed build date), but unable to add the production number to Owner's Circle.
Has anyone been able to add the number to Owners Circle?

Nope. I have had my 340i production number since June 4 and the BMW site still won't take it. Previous orders the site took the number within a day, so something must be wrong with the site.

Not sure if golfrrr or david is browsing this thread, but open question to them as well as the group...
Does anyone have a confirmed answer from BMW as to the applicability of the UDE $1K credit toward an order for a 2016? The fine print of the email promotional credit states 2014 and 2015 only. My CA is saying it's good for 2016 MY but i just don't have a good warm and fuzzy feeling over this one. Trying to get my f31 order placed in the next week or so... J |

Several weeks ago, I too read the fine print. It's actually a little worse than you state. Not only did it exclude 2016 models in the "congratulations" letter, they added the word "select" for the 2014 and 2015 models - which was not in the original invitation. I called the infamous hotline - and a couple of days later I was told that Marketing had been informed of this - and yes the $1,000 applies to 2016's. However, I have no faith in this w/o seeing it in writing - and at the very least BMW should send out clarifying letters. I asked - and received silence in return. After 3 BMW's, and first-hand observing the slippage in quality of its cars since 2006 - we should not be surprised. One can only hope that in the 2016's BMW production does not leave out the "i" in iDrive when you start up your brand new beemer.

Follow up to my original post... 2016 3 and 4 series are eligible for the UDE program credit. I placed the order for my 328d this morning and saw the printout of the rebate program details as generated by the dealer after they entered my redemption code (OL#) from the email. It's a long list of cars that are eligible. Seemed like the i8 was the only thing missing from the list but then again wasn't looking that hard once i found the 3 series. I'm attending the Seattle UDE. The fine print says the rebate includes 2016 vehicles:

Thanks - but it's the "CONGRATULATORY" letter AFTER taking the course which is not stating what is in the invitation. As I stated previously, I'm quite certain after they confirmed verbally that it's just poor diligence on the part of BMW - but one would think they would correct. It has been close to three weeks since I brought it to BMW's attention.
