Kinda hard for bmw to continue manuals for its lineup when the majority of consumers only buy autos. The world is changing to electric, hybrids and the manuals are not that valued anymore ( even the purists of all cars like Porsche have PDK in nearly all their current cars). I think manuals would only be offered in the M2/3/4 for future cars until they go full electric
