BMW whistle noise
Hey guys
I was hesitating to ask this question but now I'm forced to So I just bought the new BMW M4 I been hearing this whistle noise for a while now I took it in when for my break in period and told them the problem but they said it could go away or it normal I hear this whistle noise over 40 mph and in efficiency mode or sports or sports plus mode . To me this does not sound normal with this kind of a car and the money that I spent on it The worst thing is I try to put Loud music and I can still hear it It's that bad Can someone help me with insane sound or some way to stop Please |

No I actually don't have an m4 I wish i did im only 17 lol its my dream car as well but I research alot about the f80's and I do know a couple people with m4's and m3's also. Ill talk to them today and ask them if they had any similar problems. Also id post this on the f80 forums and ask if you haven't already.

Check your chargepipe for cracks, could just be the turbo spooling. People say it just could be the turbo spooling and if you don't feel a loss of power you should be good eitherways still take it in to the dealer. There is a post on bimmerpost as well just look up m4 whistling noise and it should pop right up on google.

Hmmm have you asked any m4 owners? Ive seen some videos online with m4's that have the mpe and they don't burble as much.
