I will be happy to try your code, but I don't understand it, because if I use this code, what should I put next?
If I tell TASKER that this is a variable, and that it should launch the "kswMediaPlayer" application = it switches to the Android side
If I tell TASKER that this is a variable, and that it must "put the loudspeaker on ON" and "launch the keyboard input Play Media" = nothing happens ...
I've been going around in circles for 2 days, it's been busy during this difficult period, but I can't find a solution ...

DAB-Z is working like you want out of the box, no special settings or anything. Could you perhaps monitor DAB-Z with Tasker and see what it does to accomplish continuously play when switching to iDrive.

If you don't have DAB-Z, ask someone to get the logfile for you (I don't have root, so can't help).

Hiya,

I'm having a problem with my install. Everything works fine except the iDrive side. I've tried selecting all the different CCC types and they all produce a similar effect, although very slightly different.

I also found this cable, should it be connected to something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I had this installed as my iDrive screen was not working, this then revealed the iDrive unit was broken (stuck in a boot loop thing). I had this repaired and now the screen is as above, but all sounds, idrive controller and steering wheel works.

The car is an e87 with CCC iDrive 2005/2006 model.

You have tried all CCC display types? In my E87 2009, number 13 is the right choice. Maybe number 10 or 11 in your 2005-6 model. My guess is that the monitor cable isn't correctly inserted, check for bent pins.

Hi! i have a same unit, this cable is for a open an close screen... Check the position of Gray cable and pins from the Nivigator!!

Anyway, so to code with BimmerCode thanks to the explanation of @ande86 you have to do :

- Headunit
- Expert mode
- 3000 HMI
- DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION = (here you choose size and resolution) Picture 1 BimmerCode
- Choose "code" and wait the unit reboot
And you go back to :
- Headunit
- Expert mode
- 3001 EXBOX
- DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display (means broad display) Picture 2 BimmerCode
- Choose "code" and wait the unit reboot

So see if this solves the problem described "no signal" (personally I do not believe it)

First i will remove the main unit, if is still no signal message, i will cut the blue wire from the unit to screen..

I spoke with the seller and i gave him sygic and waze apk to install and test if it crash.. But it past 9days.. No answer

Hi,
can you tell me if what i created in tasker is correct for my low volume problem on my device?
Because I don't have the impression that the volume is at maximum, when I turn on the radio of the bmw system I can increase the volume even louder.

in the system the media setting is set to the maximum (40)
