320 mile round trip. Couldn't be happier.

Picked this up from Swindon on Saturday Mrs Creep's 50th birthday prezzie. Brilliant car, couldn't stop grinning like an idiot.

Already had the wheels off and checked for damage etc

Cracking motor isn't it...! Active sound is a bit too loud in sport mode for my ears but it's got huge shove, and whilst firm riding is really stable. The steering is a big step over the last gen JCW too - doesn't tramline half as much which makes it easier to press on. Good purchase - a happy mrs CC no doubt.

Excellent choice. Are you sure it's really a present for your wife?

Don't have one but mrs FD has a long running love of minis (currently a countryman s all4 with jcw bodykit, but r56 jcw before that), so I've had a few as courtesy cars. Keen to try the new clubman jcw but reviews make it sounds pretty pants!
