Do you have a Vgate iCar WiFi or similar device?

You'll need a way for your car to communicate with coding software, first.

I have Bluetooth Vgate. Did you have connection to Vgate? First connect to Vgate there are extra steps for iOS read the instruction.

After that open up BimmerCode you will see the initial ECU read and automatic backup run for about 1 min.

Once you see the ECUs menus just go to the ECU module you want to code and change the settings. You will see the "code" option enable after you change at least one setting. Hit that and wait for the Coding flush it done (usually 5-20s depends on ECU). Same process for each individual ECU.

Did you even bother to read the BimmerCode Quick Start Guide???

That should be your first thing to look up.

Ok I'll be the asshole and say it - Bimmercode has good instructions and is very user friendly borderline idiot proof. If you don't feel like you understand it don't mess around with your car you can get someone to do it for you for like $100.

Hey man, I don't mean to be a dick but if you're not comfortable with bimmercode (it's pretty easy to use) then maybe don't do it, or pay for someone else to do it.

I had some issues where I lost idrive and it was a pain to get back, so proceed with care.

Good luck!
