What is the maximum speed you can take down/up the hard top while driving?

That should be stated in the owners instruction manual. I also think that if you just try it out without knowing, it won't do as you wish if the speed is beyond the limit.

The maximum speed in my car is 10mph. It’s in the manual. It won’t move at a higher speed.

10mph. There was a thing you can add to the car back during the e93 days that increased the speed and made it one touch. Don't know if that will work on the f33.

It’s called smarttop. Looks like it’s still out there. I thought about it with my Volvo. Afraid to do it while car was under warranty.
Also gives the capability to put the top up or down with full range of the remote. Or the comfort access on the door handle.

Thank you, couldnt remember the name. I'm shocked we cant code this. I wouldnt want it much more than 15mph but 10 is creeping honestly

I probably wouldn’t increase the speed myself. Being able to put the top up from 30 to 40 ft would be nice. Looks like a pretty easy install. Even for someone like me. If the top needs to be serviced,they recommend you uninstall.
The top on my vw eos failed while going up one time. Couldn’t get into the trunk. If that happened with this car,I wouldn’t be able to uninstall.
