Will These Tires Fit?

435xi GC lowered on ACS springs. I want to mount a 245/40 tire on 19x8.5 wheels. Do you think the tire is too tall?

they are too tall for the f30. you need to be closer to 26" in diameter. Those are 26.7 most likely meant for the f10 5 series.

235/40/19 or 245/35/19 are much closer.

Thanks, sounds like i'll have to go 235/40. 245/35 seem to have less availability and higher price.

Here are a few pictures of our 19x8.5 ET35 V801 installed on an F30 also running 245/40/19 tires. It looks good, but the 245/35/19 would be closer to the factory rolling diameter.

245/40-19 will fit without rubbing, good choice if you like slightly more sidewall.

i generally agree with this, however if you scroll down to post #673 here... http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...hlight=kern417 kern417 has 245/40/19 up front. personally i'd have gone a profile size down (f&r) but his car looks really good.
