Poll: Blue or Silver Start/Stop Button

Can't decide between silver and blue for the engine start/stop button. Thoughts?

Thanks for the suggestion, not really my style though.

Feel free to share a photo of it installed in your car if you have one. Curious how it looks in your cockpit.

Don't have a full cockpit photo all in one just yet, this'll do.

It's actually just a cover, not a stitched one.

Looks surprisingly good and does not move around. Also very easy to put on.

I changed my mind and got a gloss black start/stop button. I think it works better than the blue/silver.

Yeah the black version looks the cleanest, followed by the gray one (which could've worked since it matched your other pieces of trim)
Tthe blue one, however, wasn't the same shade as the blue trim so didn't really match up.

I agree. The blue button did match the BMW roundel on the steering wheel airbag but it just made the cabin too busy IMO. The silver matched in the right lighting but in the sunlight it looked more gray than silver. The black on the other hand matches the bezel I installed and is more visible while still being low key. If I did the gloss black LCI radio trim it would fit in even more but I hate the finger prints it collects (had it in my m2) and prefer the OEM matte finish for that reason. But maybe eventually I'll change my mind lol we'll see.

Get this stop button from IND. It matches the blue trim almost perfectly. I purchased the polar blue start stop button and m buttons on IND. Insanely expensive for what they are, but the m buttons fit perfectly and everything matches the blue in my dash trim (we have the same dash trim).

start stop button with option to add matching m1 m2 buttons: https://ind-distribution.com/product...19001380503621

Thanks for your suggestion but I already tried fitting the IND button and I disagree. I had the IND polar blue button set on my m2 and loved it because the color matched the polar blue stitching in the car almost perfectly. For my F30 it doesn't match the matte navy blue hex trim at all in my opinion, the trim is wayyyyy darker. I even bought the set again to see how it looked in person and I ended up returning for that reason. Much happier with my gloss black start stop button and the OEM matte black m1/m2 buttons.
