I'm not sure it does look ok, too much top of tyre visible for a Coupe. As others said the X drive is just about acceptable in a saloon or Touring but on a Coupe it has to be low and sleek.

I agree that it looks better lower, but still looks okay as an xdrive, in some of the pictures it looks really high, but half of them are still on blocks, given the choice I'd like it lower, but I want the 435d so don't have much choice, looks a bit higher in this one, but still okay

I've not seen any pictures with them "on blocks". They all look high. Look here for a 435xD : http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=939421 - shown below, compared with my sDrive.

Precisely why I got a 430D - even coming from my E92 335D ... in my opinion, the ride height on the Xdrive 4 Series is farcical for a coupe. It is the giraffe of the 3 series range.

A coupe is generally not bought on practicality, more on looks and aesthetics - and the ride height is a stumbling block for quite a few.

Those look high. Not a nice look for a Coupé.

Hardly any difference in the bottom two pictures you posted, maybe an inch, and unless you're two feet tall you're never going to see it from that angle anyway, like I said they do look better lower, but people tend to exaggerate how much higher the xdrive is

Sorry, no exaggeration but that looks high!
Car will fly over speed bumps and can double up as a tractor! Win, win!
Besides, will be the perfect car for the sodden Southwest.

I could show those pics to my old Mum and she would notice the differences. No exaggeration needed.

If you don't notice, then you won't mind.

I found it way too high on the 335xi I tested :

Im obvoiusly going to be biased but i love the Superman combo.

The most important thing is to buy what you like best and forget what anyone else thinks.

Its your car. You'll be driving it every day. Buy what you like the most. If you're worried about residuals - go with the safe option of Black.

On topic : Fully agree. Others are not buying your car, you are. Get what you want. To hell with what others think.

Just got back from my dealer...i have gone for EB with red leather. The dealer and few others got convinced that it does blend in very well as soon as they got out the red leather sample and put against EB. The actuall leather on picture dsnt do any justice untill you see it in flesh..its very very subtle red..it looks very vibrant on picturesm
But am very happy and the production is begining of match.

I really appriciate your comments. and thanks everyone...

In my experience the people who really hate red leather know it and would never consider it so the mere fact that you are thinking about it says to me that in your heart you want it. If you would have it with AW why not with EBII? I vote yes
