EuroCarParts Xmas Discount Code

EuroCarParts are doing good discounts in the run up to Xmas - 9 days left. Just got 50% off brembo front brake pads - £40 (were £80). Also 50% off filters and other parts.

Use code XMAS75

EuroCarParts Xmas Discount Code

Just checked the price for an air filter fit my car : £76.99 !!!

They're about £45 from BMW.

The code does give 50% off which makes the net price cheaper than BMW but it does look a case of artificially high pricing to allow the discount to be applied.

Mmmm - see what you mean.

I thought £40 for a set of pads for the big blue brakes was pretty good? :

Sorry if I've misled anyone.

Not your fault - it's just a good idea to test whether the gross and net prices are competitive.

Personally I'd say yes, but get a quote from them first.

Sytner Birmingham wanted £340 for the first service on my 435i, I then asked for a quote if I provided my own oil and the booking center came back to me with a price of £105.

It’s booked in for 21 December so I will ring them tomorrow to check the amended price - online it was £340 inc the scope for oil, filter & microfilter.

Yeah they just lie about the before price. If you go on their sister site carparts4less they’re always at the lower price.

Just looked at carparts4less for the air filter : £27.26. Pretty much 1/3 of eurocarparts pre-discount price !

The old rule probably applies: Don't buy the discount, buy the product.

Sytner Leicester wont allow a customer to supply their own oil ( I cancelled the booking ) , Sytner Coventry will but they won't stamp the service book , Synter Nottingham will allow it , so now booked in with them - total price for service £205.00 plus cost of oil.

That’s what they mean - they won’t update I drive so potential warranty/resale issue.

Even independent workshops can usually update the iDrive setting for oil change.

We're digressing from the OP now...

Car serviced today and the final bill was for £189.00. The oil cost £54.

The Service Technician at Sytner Nottingham told me they would have charged £140- £150 for 7 litres of oil and the Shell Helix I supplied is exactly the same as they use.

iDrive updated too , so a great result with £100 saved
