Yes the kit number changed from 3130236320 to 3130236330 and included revised front springs that were a little lower and were suitable for both pre-LCI and LCI versions.

This thread is tipping me over the edge. Ringing some dealers today to get prices.

What to others think about Independents fitting the springs + potential warranty issues etc...? Or am I just overthinking?

Although mine's an F31, you're welcome to have a spin in my machine that's got ACS installed.

If it's an approved AC Schneider independent then there should be no problem with AC Schneider's warranty

I don't think there are any approved independents in Scotland.

I feel a road trip coming on.

That would be good. A mate of mine had his F31 done and swears by them. Having at least something to compare with should help.

They stopped for a while due to problem customer rather than problems with the springs. They are back on board now though.

AC Schnitzer leave it to their importers to decide who they appoint as dealers. We as the importers (Rossiters) are happy to recommend AA, but there are no "AC Schnitzer approved" dealers as such, other than ourselves of course.

Our warranty stands as long as our products are fitted competently, and in accordance with our instructions. This can include BMW dealers and independent garages, but also Teaspoon on his driveway as long as he does the job properly. We don't warrant fitting errors.

Hi Lorcan. The prices supplied to you regarding aa silencers are incorrect. I have just been quoted 373 for springs and alignment. Have told them to get back to me if they can move on price.

Thanks for confirming the warranty situation regarding fitting them on your drive.

Got all the tools and having done complete suspension swaps on previous cars, I would hate to have to pay someone to do a job I could do on a Saturday morning.

Now just to save up the pennies to buy the springs.
Lorcan What are the spring rates for the F30 340i OEM vs ACS

Thanks

I've also been costing up ACS springs fitting prices. Every garage I call is quoting 5.5 hours fitting time. This is apparently according to the 'latest Autodata' information. All quotes have been £400+ even at local non specialist garages.
