As above said. The ACS are not boy racer at all. Not cheap but highly recommended over the woeful standard springs. |

Prentice in Portadown. 695. 55 quid cheaper than jkc. Still too expensive but I wanted it done at a main dealer. That price included 5 cups of coffee and several buns....

100%. Thanks. Was that headlight alignment and wheel alignment (or whatever the term is?.) too? who should I ask for down there? Do they order springs or do you?

I'm up for anything that makes things better, but I'd absolutely need to test before spending £££
If you get more towards msport isn't just doing a 330d msport swap a viable option too? I'll have to see what I think. I suppose arb tweaks are cheap and easy too, as are tyres wrt refining feel in steering... plus alignment at fronts. |

They were doing 0% finance as well but I think that might have only been in October. Mr whippy. 330d is a different animal. I've had 4 of them a 330i and an m3 whilst the 335d isn't a lot quicker when moving the extra traction you get is nice. Particularly in this part of the world where it rains 50% of the days in the year! Sure a 335d m sport with m sport suspension from the factory would be great but when it's only £700 to fix the springs issue I don't think it's a big deal. Mark |

Hi all. I finally got around to getting them fitted yesterday at BMW Sandal Wakefield. Excellent price and excellent service. Just looked at the car this morning and the rear of the car had dropped nicely. I can't see any change in drop in the front. Is that normal? Will I get more drop at the front as the springs settle?

Anyone tried a 330d msport front struts/rear spring/dampers onto their 335d?
Just curious if ACS on 335d is higher/lower and firmer/softer vs a 330d?? I'm after comfort and oem look. Quite happy with the car the way it is but if I can improve it for no significant downsides it'd be silly not to look into things. |

Had mine fitted at Sandal Wakefield on Thursday. £350 inc Vat. I have to say that the transformation is unreal. Yes, form a visual perspective, but the drive/handling difference is superb.

I'm assuming that was the fitting cost only, and did not include the springs??!!

Can anyone get detailed specs of the OE spring and the ACS ones?
Ie, wire diameter, free length and so on? I'd really like to know height change and ride rate, have looked high and low, but can't find anything conclusive. |

Usual xdrive questions lol
Quote:
Just got myself a 435d F36 LCi, ride is better than my pre LCI stock 335d however it’s fine but as folk always say...press on and it all seems to go a bit wrong. I can go the springs only route but with me keeping the car min of 3 Years was considering shocks to go with the springs. I saw on a previous quote that you said shocks were going to be available for the xdrive soon. Is this the case? As 2.6k for the adjustable setup well is beyond my price range. Due to past experience of installing aftermarket springs I am of the opinion that it’s best to buy both springs and shocks which have been designed to work with one another...maybe I am wrong? Or will I be happy with just the springs? Have emailed my local stealer this morning about supply and fit of springs so waiting for will I am sure will be a comical reply I am sure...think I will be taking a trip to AA at cheadle either way. Cheers for input

You can't fit 330d m sport springs to the 335d. I asked that question. Extra weight is the issue. |

I had the ACS springs on and they did make a difference but i was still not happy so i went for the Birds B3 Sports kit with springs and dampers and that has transformed the car into something like i thought it should have been. Now over the moon .
