Try and establish if the service is the only one and not late
If it’s a second service, its had a hard life.
If it’s a first service, its been babied.
Mines had an easy life and it’s first service is due now at 18k

Is anyone able to confirm if the car would have pro Nav as it’s an M Sport plus model?? The spec sheet just says satellite navigation & I haven’t had a reply to my email asking for the VIN so I can check.

Does anyone on here have a 3 series in champagne quartz with extended cohiba brown merino leather interior?? Would love a pic if anyone has it plz
Yes M Sport Plus includes Pro Nav.

I'm not sure it does. I believe M Sport Plus is Harmon Kardon stereo, upgraded wheels and brakes, and tinted rear windows.

I ordered a 340i (and cancelled) that would have been on a 66 plate and I ordered M Sport Plus and stuck with business nav, if it has working sat nav and dab, that's all I'm really interested in.

On further investigation it seems like you're right! I always thought it included Pro Nav, think it must be because every car I've seen with M Sport Plus has Pro Nav. Ah well you live and learn.

Any pics you get of champagne quartz won't do it justice, honestly.
Some don't like it as it's technically 'beige'. I disagree, I think it's an awesome colour. Especially with the tan interior.
You must really find a car (model doesn't really matter) locally in that colour to see it in the flesh yourself. It is a colour you need to physically see IMHO.

It’s defo just had the 1 service at 23000 miles in March 2018 I think he said it was. I’m going to try & find out which dealer serviced it & contact them to see if I can get any further info, I’ve emailed a guy at bmw I’ve dealt with before in the hope he can do a check to see if it’s had any warranty work.

I’ve also been checking about recalls & understand it could possible be due a recall for the EGR valve, will have to look into that.

How did you manage to get the spec of the car?? Sure I haven’t given the ref or anything, thanks though, bit disappointed at business Nav, apart from a smaller screen, what does business not have that pro does??

I do t use Nav that much anyway, I wanted pro more for how the screen looks

That’s what I’ve been thinking as well, best to try & track a car down that’s the same colour, a work colleague also says it’s a nice colour, he says it looks different in bright sunshine, almost like it changes colour, if that’s right or not, I don’t know.

It's a great colour. To some. I do think it's one of those "marmite " ones though, so best find one to look at.

I looked at the ad. Interior looks well nice. HPI'd it for the VIN number, then VIN decoder.

If it's the right car for you, retro fitting the big screen isn't a big deal.

I was saying yesterday it’s a marmite colour, I like it so far so fingers crossed I can find a local car in same colour I can check out.

Pro Nav is nice but I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to live without, I only use the media for streaming music & telephone, very rarely use Nav.

No it doesn't

Pro Nav is an additional extra over and above M Sport +

M Sport + gives blue brakes, HK stereo, 19" wheels and Sun Protection Glass

If you call BMW customer services, they can tell you what history it has within the BMW network

pro nav is standard with m-sport trim? Don't think I've ever not had m-sport so I'm not sure. Although I think I had business nav on a previous m-sport car but thats a few years ago

Just spoke to my mates Mrs who works for bmw & she’s checked it out for me, was serviced in March at Williams BMW at 24180 miles, it’s had no other work within the network & has no outstanding recalls.

Just waiting on the detailed video from the seller now.

Sounds good so far, but just make sure that you give it a really good look over and make a list of the things that you want the garage to sort out before you will buy it. From memory, it things like:

Tyres - uneven wear and low tread
Check under the mats for water leaks
Clean engine bay
Scuffed alloys
Paintwork
Front spoiler and rear diffuser are prone to damage
Bumpers
Condition of brakes and pads - check on test drive as well
All electrics working

There must be many more, but these are some of the basic ones.

Is it me or does 24180 miles until it had it's first service seem a bit long?

Generally, that type of vehicle, leased, is going into a big company, where the driver is not really an enthusiast, therefore just drives it … launch is unlikely to have been used. The colour might be the same as Rossiters demo car … check out the recent AC Schnitzer thread which has outside pics

This has crossed my mind so I’ve phoned 2BMW dealers, spoke to the service department & cant get a straight answer about the service schedule for a 335d, I know it’s condition based but my main question was if 24k was over & beyond the recommended service point, I’m still none the wiser.

Well 20k is the starting point I believe. Not sure anyone has ever gone to 24k+ for their first service unless they can pipe up and say otherwise?
