Xdrive issues after lowering

Hi

Mounted KW V1 suspenison on my BMW 428i Xdrive with adaptive suspension (orginal)
After installing the coilovers and kw edc deletekit the xdrive wheel power distrubution is wrong the car is vibrating alot when standing still in drive, and when driving..coded the xdrive to rwd with xdelete, and the problem is gone..but i have a fault code on the chassis, tried to delete the fault code but it's permament..

Any ideas?

Also the sport mode, eco pro, dtc off is problem with..set the car to sport mode, but when i come over 20kmph it goes straight back to comfort mode and i can't go back to sport, eco pro or dtc off unless i'm driving under 20kmph..

Have searched for faults and checked everything, can't find any faults...does somebody have the same issue as me or got any ideas?

Might have a bad or unplugged speed sensor.

Couple of immediate thoughts:

- Are tires and wheels still OEM?
- How many inches / centimeters was the car lowered?

You have to reset the steering angle sensor after you get an alignment. You can get the bootleg copy of ista/d to do it.

What is the fault code? Hook up ISTA and check the faults there.

Got it. Thanks for clarifying.

Reading the fault code is the next step. Installation of coilovers could be coincidental and not related.

50mm is the maximum that most coilovers allow so you are definitely too low in the front. You are going to pop the axles, it's just a matter of when.

Readed faultcodes with ista d, and got fault on front right damper..valve short circuit..but i got edc deletekit..

Removed the deletekit and switch sides on the deletekit in the front, and the fault code dissapeard and the car is almost fully function again..xdrive is still not working..going to a friend today thats work at bmw to check if the transfercase is broken or what...

I'm also going to raise the car 2-3cm in the front and check whats happening..maybe thats the solution

If the axle is on the verge of popping it's Cv joint that is definitely something that could cause vibrations.

I recently lowered my xdrive on kw sc and the front was less than a finger gap almost 2 inches lower than stock. On the first day driving it i noticed some vibration when putting the car into reverse and giving gas. Also when cruising in a high gear with moderated gas. Ive since raised it to just over a finger gap and the vibration is gone. Ive chalked it up to just being too low for xdrive. There are other cars out there like is350 awd that get the same issue from lowering. If your xdrive I would keep the lowering reasonable.
