My only concern personally is that I still have a warranty through July 2020 and don’t want any issues to come from having tuned it because I was impatient. |

Well, y'all had me convinced to get the Kerma tune. But then I found this....All within the past 11 months and the most recent as yesterday

That looks like a suspicious hit piece. There's a lot of posts suddenly within the past week or so from things that are old, such as talking about a former KermaTDI guy (Paul) who passed away five years ago... (yet the review says they talked to him "today"). This was my first time looking at that site and being aware of it, but it pegged my "BS" meter.
Anyways, I paid them with my CC, shipped them my DDE, and got everything as promised and on time. They kept me updated with statuses during my transaction without me having asking for them. A coworker of mine bought the tune shortly after I did via their website, and has no regrets either. We've had no issues with identity fraud, unauthorized charges on our CCs, or anything bad. Far better service and communication than I received from JR tuning.

Did not mean to put this out there as being absolute truth. I took it with a grain of salt as well. But it did make me reconsider my purchase. I think I will wait a while before purchasing.

That's pretty crazy. I've had amazing support and what I would call an overall successful transaction. They responded quickly, professionally, while still coming across as passionate.
Honestly I was going to go the DUDMD route but liked the idea of being able to take the tune if I didn't like it or didn't want it any longer. Glad I went the way I did with Kerma. |

I don't have anything else to compare it to other than stock, but After 60k on the JR 3.0, I can't say I have too many complaints. My only gripe is that I wish they could still send you the cable to flash remotely. I have an engine light that pops up about 10-20% of the time due to one of the stock fueling parameters being exceeded. it doesn't affect anything, just a little annoying. This is supposed to be fixed in the new version of the tune though. Maybe one of these days I'll send it back to be flashed.

Ordering my Kerma tune today. The power numbers for the X3 are a little lower but still plenty. No other deletes planned, just a great tune.
I'll post an update in a few days after I've run it some.

Kerma's X3 28d will be the same +50whp and +70wtq as their base 328d tune. They simply haven't updated the page. The engines are nearly identical as is the management.

Most excellent. Looking forward to the 230hp and 350 ft-lbs torque in my future. Next will be all driveline fluids at/before 60k miles and new tires. A few other mods are on their way as well.

UPDATE: Turns out Kerma doesn't have the Qpro available for the 2016s, they can only do ECU mail-in service. That's a deal breaker for me as I need the car every day for my 200 mile commute.
Note to others out there, make sure you get a clear answer about the availability of the flashloader tool for YOUR car before buying.

Any one run this in California? I'm curious if you've run into any issues with emissions.
Also, if you need to take it to the stealership and they flash the ECU , can you reload the tune? Thanks! |

That bad business claim is funny. They are here in Colorado, way up in the mountains. Make no mistake. They are every bit of the real deal as you are going to find. The level of knowledge everyone involved has, as well as the amount of research they have put into the tune would blow your mind.
But that's ok. With the recent surge in purchases on this platform just in this thread alone is about to blow any ounce of question or hesitation out of existance. You all are about to hear a whole lot of "holy shit's". Wait for it....... It was asked earlier what the ECO PRO improvement is. The answer is EVERYTHING. You have drivability, along with the actual benefits of the eco pro economy. You won't find your self getting frustrated and shifting out of it.

If the dealer does an update than you have either the choice of overwriting the update or send the update to Kerma to apply a new tune. I am guessing the latter comes with some cost though. My RAM Eco-Diesel is a different story. GD with their hot tune got into quite a bit of trouble with CARB so far so that now buyers are required to send in a scanned copy of the registration paperwork to proof the vehicle isn't registered in CA. I got lucky and ordered it through my brother-in-law from the east coast before that went into effect.

Just an update...
After I got my TC output shaft strengthened with Loctite I ordered the Kerma tune yesterday, now waiting for the programmer to arrive so I can send them the stock file. I'll report back after I get the tune installed with some impressions.
