ENET cable stopped working?

Hi All - I have the one-stop ENET cable, as below:

http://www.one-stop-electronics.com/...&product_id=21

It worked for the 2 times I've coded in teh past 6 months, but today my laptop won't recognize it - has anyone had problems with these? they seem to be very stiff and stick to the obd port - wondering if reefing to unplug it ruined it?

Would the latest software update have disabled this ENET cable?

I've used mine many times with no problems.

I can't imagine an updated program would disable the cable mate, must be something else.

I cut the tab of the plug so it was easier to pull out of the OBD port though.

How do you know with certainty the cable is bad?
