How can I code my USB2 to Digital?

I have bought a iPhone 5 Connect cradle for my F20 125d because the Media one is not out yet. Apparently to get sound to play through the car's speakers I need to code the usb2 port as digital.

Can someone tell me the correct area to find this setting in eSys? And do I need a EST token to do this?

Under HU_NBT (ECU)

You need to read the Code and FDL code this entry.

HU_CIC/HU_NBT

3003 TELEFON_TELEMATIK_ONLINE
USB2_IPOD_AUDIO - DIGITAL/ANALOG/AUTO

I have tried this on my NBT and it works.

Thanks! Will the NBT stuff be there on mine as my f20 predates NBT?

CIC uses standalone Combox, which has:

CMB_MEDIA => USB1_IPOD_AUDIO = DIGITAL/ANALOG/BOTH
CMB_MEDIA => USB2_IPOD_AUDIO = DIGITAL/ANALOG/BOTH

Which one do we use when? Or just put both as "both"?

I think USB1 is for the center armrest 6FL port and USB2 is for the 6NF Plugin.

You can enable them both. It wont hurt anything.

Oh so the usb port inside the glove box can act the same as the one inside the armrest after code?

Cuz I'm storing my iPhone inside the armrest storage and I'm afraid people break in and steal it. If I can enable the one inside the glove box doing the same job then I can lock it inside.
