AFE Pro Dry S Filter Install BMW 335i GT N55 + 0-60mph

Hey guys, my new air filter from AFE does give a little kick in the higher RPM's but very slight. On the highway this is more noticeable. I love that I can clean it anytime with just warm water and soap, no need for oiling. It sounds decent as well. Overall I'm very happy.

Here is the link to the product and where I purchased it. http://goo.gl/nQrkjZ

Also take a look at how dirty these filters can get. Here is an older video of my K&N drop in filter after about 30,000 miles.

AFE makes a great product.. I have their open intake with the pro dry filter.. The sound is addicting.. but I have noticed 0 power gain over the stock MPPK box/filter.

Not surprised if running MPPK only as DME works within set tolerances hence why gains maybe minimal.

Add a BEF and or a JB4 and it will help. Less about gaining extra power and allowing turbo to do less work to deliver target boost.

I have JB4 on m135i here in UK. I had AFE dry drop in and AFE DAS with stock sealed airbox - on any JB4 map, incl stock/bypass, throttle response was better, IAT's slightly lower and PWM / duty cycle %age was less than with stock intake....
