You won't get a discount on ACS parts, not unless they have some end of line stuff they want to shift. Here's the link.

sorry to bring up an old thread, but i need some help identifying the correct Eibach springs to get...
I have a 2017 335d (new owner) Its on 20" rims... Since i changed the tyre pressure from 32psi to what the book says, 41/44psi , i feel like the car is now on stilts (handling!).... I do have quite the gap between tyre and arch, so would like to lower it, but only a little... (so it sits just nice should i say) Doing a search for Eibach springs, on a few websites, the Part number i get for my car, i think, is: E10-20-031-05-22 Yet, this original post refers to a part which is: E10-20-031-06-22 and i am looking at maybe approaching Mstyle to supply & fit shocks + 340i exhaust conversion........ But......... there website lists for the 335d, the part number: E10-20-031-01-22 So am stuck with what to order, etc..... Kicking myself too, because if: E10-20-031-05-22 is the correct part, AutoDoc was doing these on Friday for £137 ! , and now its £164 ! doh! |

My F30 335i XDrive takes the -06 Eibach spring set. I looked up the F30 335d XDrive and it says to use the -05 Eibach spring set. See link below: http://web2.carparts-cat.com/default...=15&12=130 |

Hiya
I found the correct part, yes... but a well known BM shop has listed a part number which isn't for the F30 335d ..... Just tripple checking part numbers, so if a garage states they will put on what i think is the wrong ones, i know not to go there |

Both kits are correct, depending on the front axle weight of the car.
E10-20-031-05-22 is for cars up to 1065kg front axle weight. E10-20-031-06-22 is for up to 1095kg front axle weight. The quoted lowering amount is 20mm front, 15mm rear on both. |

I've just had the Eibachs fitted... car is much less "wallowy" and doesn't feel like a boat going round bends. I do however need to take the car back to the garage as I hear a lot of clunking from the front near side when going over speed bumps

theres a racing team who specialise in BMW's not far from me....
i went to there place today, mentioned about fitting springs... He said about doing the car geometry aswell. Is that essential to do ? and in laymens terms, is that 4 wheel alignment ? |

Is there a difference and what is it? Otherwise it's a coin toss based on nothing - which seems crazy on £20k+ worth of Bavaria's finest. I have not come across a categoric answer.

What's your mileage? My Indy always changes all of the stock rubber bits above and below the shocks and springs. Usually the original pieces have deteriorated and new parts makes suspension feel like new. Look up part numbers on realoem website |

AC Schnitzer revised their springs at the launch of the LCI in 2015. As far as I am aware, Eibach didn't. |

It's recommended by BMW with any component change and by us a) because the car could be out of alignment before the springs are fitted and b) because small adjustments are usually required after fitting springs to put the geometry back to standard. Nearly all cars require rear left camber adjustment to be back in tolerance.

The place which is local to me is: Simpson Motorsport (https://simpsonmotorsport.com/)
Probably very much overkill for what i want (mine resembles a 4x4 at the mo ! https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...postcount=3540 Defo not the place to do things wrong, will cost me a few quid here for fit & alignment , but i guess it saves driving further to find another place! If you look at my post which shows my car, on 20" wheels /standard adaptive suspension , i dont want a slammed look for the car, just a nice look, so closing that gap by half for instance, not too low..... Looking at springs now, i see: E10-20-031-05-22 Eibach = 35 / 25mm drop But on Eibachs website, it lists them as 20 / 15mm drop ?? Any of u guys got 335d on 20" with these springs fitted, and a photo handy ? ( & cheers for the advice guys |

I don't have a 335d, however I do have a 335xi running the 05-22 kit w/ Koni Yellows. I'm very happy (both appearance and performance), however I'm running 18's and also replaced the bump stops to F80's. I thought about going to 19's but opted to stick with 18's to allow for added suspension in the form of larger sidewall. I'm honestly not sure I would be as happy with the ride on 20's, although they would look great.
