Car for 3 kids seats

Anyone got any first hand experience of vehicles which will fit a booster type for 6 year, Maxi for a 3 year old and then the full iso-fix kit for a new born.

I really have no desire to trawl round dealerships trying out seats in cars, and all 3 won't go in our Qashqai.

Would an X5 (e70 or newer) take them? Maybe Toureg?
I'm quite drawn to an S-Max for £12-15k to be fair, seem decent value for money.
Would go new or used, open minded.

S max would be my choice - three separate seats in the middle row.

I would go S max too. Pretty decent to drive. 3 seats won’t fit in an X5.

I get them all in my F36

Booster in front and one in back, isofix for the new born and Mrs and fit in the middle!

Problem with a Transporter van is simply that it drives like a van.

Discovery? IIRC that the Disco 5 has isofix points in all seats - don't know if the same applied to the Disco 4.

XC90 has 3 seats in the back. I don't have any first hand experience of it, though.

A few options being suggested that might be a challenge for 12k...

I read it as the S Max is good value at that price not that was the budget, could be wrong like.

Yeah it's not 12k budget, just I'd seen a couple of S-Max for that price that looked ok
Probably 20-25k if we buy outright, or we could lease something again for a couple of years.

Apparently you can 3 seats across an A6 and Jag XF

VW Transporter is a no, won't cut it with the wife, and to be fair it is a shiny van with seats in.

The Kodiak sounds interesting, will have a look at that.

XC90 would be nice, it's the 'price don't matter option'

A friend of mine has 3 kids seats in her F31 - so not sure how they wont' fit in an X5.

There's a few 7 seater car options anyway if push comes to shove.

2 series grand tourer? Just spent a while on hold with the dealer and a looped advert was stating that that had 3 child seat spaces.

Are her kids anorexic? There’s no room for even one kiddie seat and two kids in the back.... Believe me, I’ve tried....

F30 with a infant seat meant the middle was unusable. With the X5(F15) you could have two kiddy seats with the middle seat free, but you wouldn't get 3 kids seats across the back.

yeah no way are 3 seats going in an F3*

that Jag lease does look good, Ive asked them for a formal quote and have leased via G2L previously as well.

Im leaning towards and S-Max, even if we spend more. Sure its a van, but they look ok and you get plenty of kit on them - glass roof, satnav, camera, and there is the option of the 2 extra seats as well for when one of the kids gets angry......
