Got a F30, open to suggestions....

hi guys, just bought the below, looking to make it look a bit less like a rep car, was thinking about bumper changes, new alloys, maybe a spoiler etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated, links to products suggested would be great too:

Garage List
I'd start by a tint a ditch that front plate; then wheels/tires and a few accessories.

Hey welcome to the hobby, there is a huge list of opportunities, it?ll really comes down to budget.

The two common body conversions that most folks will execute for your car are the M sport or M3 conversion. You can do a search and you?ll see a ton of build threads on the bumpers. I actually came from a similar model to what you have... I went and did the M sport conversion. Attached a picture for reference.

From there you can also look at the opportunities around carbon fibre accessories.
Mirror covers
Trunk spoiler
Roof spoiler
Front bumper lip

Other mods:
Tints
New kidney grills (most go black)

For wheels it will come down to your preference. There are a number of options around the 18 inch and 19 inch diameters. Personally I would consider 19s.

Wheels would be my first change. An MSport front fascia next and maybe a rear lip spoiler.

+1, they look like they belong on a 90's vintage Kia. The hubs could stand to be de-rusted and painted, probably the calipers too.

I love the M Emblem on your front fenders and the M Performance decal on your side sills. Can you tell me where you got them from? The emblem looks OEM. I've had trouble looking for decent M Performance decals for my side sills though. Thanks so much!

Rims, m sport bumpers, black kidney grills to start. Orrr you can do anything you like. Haha we all tend to have pretty similar tastes. Surprise us!

you have to have front plates in Ireland and the UK. I had an A5 before this and would've liked nothing more than to get rid of it, dont mind it as much on the f30

id also like the exhaust to make a slightly better noise so I need to look into that too. The double pipe look is cool but I'm assuming it costs a fortune

Looks like you're on the other side of the pond but there's a few threads here they have 328 to 335 conversions. They sound a bit better and definitely look better too! Just need the corresponding rear bumper and some pipe work and the 335/340 exhaust.

Another 328i to 335i exhaust conversion http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1430128

That's the link to the conversion. He didn't even need to change the bumper apparently. Just the diffuser. even less cost! I think it's just sourcing the right parts and finding a proper exhaust shop to do it well.

With the M Sport the bumpers the same on all the models. It’s just the defuser that varies depending on the exhaust style.

You could consider what this gentleman did, he went with M sport front bumper only and worked off the existing side skirts and back bumper. Came out exceptionally good!

Car's finally done, Alpine white F30 http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1415327

19s and RFTs aren't a good combination. If you must use RFT stick with 18s, with 19s or larger use non RFT.

On my last set of 19s with RFT I was getting bulges in my tires all the time. That was with cautious driving too - hated it.
