I got stoked. Then I saw it was uncorrected.

So it’s safe to run the stage 2 flash on a stock downpipe? No issue with too much back pressure? I have the less restrictive MPPSK exhaust so maybe that would help in my case?

Wow, that's insane. I want to get this but having to throw in E85 all the time is a real pain. Is there a Stage 2 tune that can be safely run with just 91 octane?
Also, this car must be a monster to drive on the street! Heck, even with my stock MPPSK, I can get significant wheelspin shifting into 2nd under WOT. This thing must lay rubber for days lol |

Maybe it's just me, but these stage packages make no sense if all of them can be run on a stock car. It would eliminate a lot of confusion and question if they consolidated everything.

Just because you can doesnt mean you should. Like the original post said you have adequate fueling for Stage 2 & 3 which is why the E85 is added. In another thread they are recommending that you be FBO or at least have a downpipe

Engine Tune | Trans Tune Stage 1 - 91 octane minimum | Stock Trans Flash Stage 2 - 93 octane minimum | Stock Trans Flash OR Stage 1 Trans Flash Stage 3 - 93 octane minimum | Stage 1 Trans Flash OR Stage 2 Trans Flash I don't think there are huge benefits of a trans flash with Stage 1 engine flash as gains aren't as aggressive. Stage 2 engine flash definitely benefits from a Trans flash but not required. Stage 3 needs a trans flash. I think that clarifies it...

Every other platform I have experience with has a stock tune, a downpipe/bolt on tune, and then tunes for upgraded turbos. I understand having different grades for different fuels but now you have a bunch of people asking how high of a "stage" can they run with random combinations of parts (or little to none). It doesn't make sense to even present it as an option if it's not safe. Quote:

Wonder what a catless downpipe and 93 with a couple gallons e85 would make. Probably break 450!

And if that is the case, then they should set clear requirements for each stage. That's not too much to ask. All of the overlap makes no sense. If you say so. But every other major tuner says otherwise. How many maps does JB4 have for a stock engine with the same fueling? Cobb? BM3? I could reference tuners on other platforms too. |

But don't forget Map 6 can be used for custom tuning so you can use that also with either 91 or 93... and if you have bolt ons then you can probably use either Map 3 or Map 5, so all this above is quite clear I'm sure... How about just calling Alex and asking instead of continuing to waste time on this?

Yes, let's keep this thread on track. Alex, can you please throw a catless DP on this car and re-dyno?

I'm off topic? First few posts pretty much solved the mystery. Posts 5, 6, and 7 are asking what's needed for various maps. 3 posts in a row of unsure potential customers. And it's the same sort of questions in all of their threads. I mean now it's not even stage 1 and 2, they're advertising stage 2+? But you guys got it.
