I know what you mean about the slight difference in carbon, it's actually not that noticeable and for the price I paid I can live with it. |

Installed LED bulbs for the turn indicators and brake lamp. Actually brighter in person than on video.

Wheels arrived, waiting for tires. I went with a 18x8.5 et38 square setup, tires are 255/40. Also picked up a set of msport calipers in 340/345 that I was planning to get powder coated, but these are in such good nick that I'll keep them the way they are for now. Also got some fluid, goodridge brake lines, zimmerman rotors and pagid pads to complete the setup. Tax refund well spent, and I'm doing my part to get this flipping economy going again...😁

Flea bay, $800 shipped. The plan was to use just the rear ones along with the front ones currently on the car and get them powder coated a different color, but these are in good shape so I'll install them. I know blue brakes are common and I wanted something different but it saves me the hassle and a few $$

Replaced the front forward control arms. The BMW dealership quoted $775 for the job, my Indy shop quoted me $450 for 3 hours plus an alignment, I found new arms and replaced them in 90 minutes for under $200. It was a pretty easy job considering I did it without a lift.
The passenger arm bushing pushed through the housing, causing a creaking/popping sound when turning right or going over a large bump. According to the dealer, if it pushed through all the way at high speed it could damage other suspension components. |

Kind of a dumb little thing but put on these smoked stickers over the too-shiny silver signal lenses on the side mirrors. Much less shiny now.
I bought a set of those replacement blingy sequential signals off amazon and after I installed one side noticed that it had NO water seals like there are on the OE blinker so I took it off and returned them. What a stupid omission. I got them from Mashimarho but they are sold out. You can get them from Goldenwrench who actually make them. For some reason vbulletin won't let me post the link to them. It turns the tld into ********** like below. https://***********************/coll...roducts/fxxmri

Got a CEL on the 328d 2 days before my warranty runs out, went to the dealership for diagnostics. Getting a new fuel injector on cylinder #3, already had cylinder #4 replaced a month ago and I'm only at 72k km / 45k mi

Finally did the country map update from 2016 to 2020, and CarPlay activated.
I didn't installed the antenna, so far I didn't feel necessary. |

How hard is this? I'm trying to following the Navi forums but they are a million pages long and I can't figure out where to start.

New member, long time lurker. Love the forum.
As it happened was in the market in January when I received the heads up about a 2017 330iX just off lease with 29,215KM (18,250 miles) and despite not searching for AWD I couldn’t pass this vehicle up - price was right and it had been babied by previous owner. Thus far 35% tint all around and mounted the winter tires on original rims. Purchased a set of 441M from a local forum member for the warmer months with run flats. Be safe everyone. |
