Installing front facing camera on 440i via mmi

Thinking of getting an mmi box from droiduk
https://droiduk.com/product/mmi-box/

One of the reasons is to install a front facing camera.
Have any of you done this? I'm curious how tricky it is and how it is integrated into the system. Also, which camera to get? Would have to be a tough camera to withstand water and dirt

I've did it with an Android HU, which should be exactly the same as that. Grabbed a camera off of Aliexpress:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000...3def4c4d7dS5Nn

***NOTE: *** This isn't an "HD 720p" camera even though the listing claims it is. It's a SD 720x480p composite (RCA) camera. I ended up filing a dispute with the seller when I got it, and they refunded me 50%.

It works "ok". I bought a USB DVR app for my HU so I could have a ghetto "dash cam". Unit seems solid enough, clips into the grill, and no issues with water so far.

Where'd you clip this onto?

I bought this one and use it with my
BimmerTech MMI box.

Works fine, no issues.

It's made to clip on the grill, between a couple of the uprights, and molds into the top. I have an aftermarket m-style grill so the link fits mine pretty much bang on.
