upgrading my 428i x drive to 19x8 front and 19x9 rear. the stock staggered rear appears to be 8.5. If I use the stock tire set up (255/35-19)will that extra 0.5 inch stretch the tire enough to screw up the aspect ration and interfere with x drive?

If your running same stock tires... you will not have any problems with xdrive. And 255/35 is not really stretch at all on a 9 wide wheel.... you won't see a stretch per it poke out a bit with the stock 8.5 wide wheel.
