Yes that's a challenge at times, but largely if you know some detail it gets better.

Most of the feedback will be based on US made M3s which seemed to be a bit naff at times.

Ironically the made in China ones are unanimously praised.

A fair few unhappy 911 992 owners on Rennlist so nothing is perfect but I do agree that personally I would not entertain a new model or first year build Tesla.

As for looks form a few other posters comments. I'm not sure BMW come out of this well sadly

BMW wins that one - the Tesla looks like a grandad with his false teeth taken out.

The Tesla M3 in the picture above, reminds me of the cheap plastic model cars we got in the 1960s, "made in Hong Kong".

I think you have hit the nail firmly on the head there Sahajesh

Bloody awful looking things especially in white which most of them seem to be.

I hated the Model 3 when it first came out, but now I am surrounded by them all the time I like the looks. There is a grey Performance model near me that I think looks way better than most BMWs

If we only bought on looks though, everyone would be driving S5 or RS5 sportbacks (in my opinion).....

And beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Especially in white, agree.

People get them for tax reasons, saving a ton of cash and will somehow accept it in Zanussi white :

Looks are subjective as I would take the BMW over the Tesla in the looks department every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Fuel still an issue where we are in Kent, just popped to the Tip and passed 4 petrol garages, all closed with no fuel. The extra deliveries have clearly not filtered through yet.

Currently have 1/2 a tank but I use half a tank most weeks so I will be trying to fill out before I hit the 1/4 mark to make sure I am not scrambling round on fumes. Assumed it would all be over by now but it seems not

Nothing wrong with white cars......

Buy what you like, and accept the right of others to pick what they like.

(and lets be honest, some people dont really like cars but do like money, madness I know...)

Seems a bit better in Hemel today (which is nice) - so now I have some fuel in one car at least and ok for another week!

Everything appears to be back to normal in West Cornwall from what I can see - all.pumps open and in use, with no queues. A stark contract with the situation at home in SE London where things are showing little sign of stabilizing, according to friends and neighbours.

First time since this kicked off that I have seen the services on the M2 near Medway/Gravesend not have a 30 car queue at 05:30 in the morning.

£35 limit but got me back to 3/4 of a tank and saved me having to hunt round and sit in a queue for 30 minutes on the weekend.

I drove down to London yesterday from the NE and everywhere on the way looked open and… no queues… even the couple of stations I passed when I got here…

Prices seem to have bumped a little and the cost of vPower at the shell stations (compared to regular) is shocking all over…. Will be sticking to my Tesco 99 as far as possible…

Eco-Pro and ACC combined helped bump the economy nicely…

Went out for the first time in 10 days after my isolation was finished. Still no fuel at the two closest petrol stations. Might just hibernate for the winter and see what 2022 brings.

Seems to be calming down in Peterborough.
Big Tesco and a local Esso both had Diesel, so the Mrs could fill up again.
