So my best friend just bought a set 2018 440i M sport, we are looking at a bunch of different mods and unique stuff to do, I know the f80/f82 seats are a pretty common mod, but as a supra owner I have lots of buddies who have removed the stock seats and I can get them cheap... You'd think its all bmw compatible but I can't imagine anyone has done it, I know the Z4 seat is internally the same, same controls and motors and ecu's etc as the supra but you are going from on generation the next, now I did see someone put g82 seats in an f80 and that's going from new generation to fx platform, so what do you guys think? possible, worth a shot? If I have time maybe i'll have him remove one of my seats and bolt it in, hopefully the rails line up etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
