But, instead of rebooting (and waiting...) you can just disconnect the phone under WirelessDev and immediately reconnect it. It's actually quite fast and shortly after that the popup will appear again. Takes all in all maybe 5 seconds. Still sucks having to do it in the first place, though ^^ Quote:

With wireless AA I sometimes had trouble getting sound from Spotify. The screen showed that Spotify was playing but there was no sound coming from the speakers. There was also a lag when scrolling through the apps and the google voice assistant was slow and sometimes unreliable. |

Little help here, just installed this box and can’t get it to work. (NBT version). After installing, I reconnected battery and started car up, iDrive throwing a “no warning tones” code on the screen. I can’t get into the MMI mode/software. Tried clicking AUX as input source and holding Menu button for 2 seconds, doesn’t seem to be working.
It seems as if it’s a fuse blown, or bad box, or bad connection? The 12v and ACC wire on the CAN don’t need to be spliced into anything for MMI to work, that’s only needed for camera correct? |

Just for info (incase anyone else didn't notice it), I just found a setting in the menu (after the mcu update from December), you can set it to use the back button to switch to and from i-drive, instead of using the menu button.
Press and hold Back for 2 seconds to switch, for me this is much better than pressing and holding menu. Also just curious but which is the correct side for the menu bar at the side with the genuine BMW version of Carplay in the uk, is it on the left or the right (google doesn't seem to help with this as there are pictures with both, but from 3rd party coders, rather than official bmw). |

I didn't try any coding today, as there isn't anything that needs coding. |

Installed and working but I realized while in CarPlay mode and putting car in reverse, system does not automatically switch back to iDrive backup screen, I have to hold menu to get out of MMI and then hold it again after backing up to get back to MMI.
Does it not automatically do that for you? Is there some setting in the MMI system I need to change? |

So, this is the closest I've got to a flat frequency response. Remember no amplifier/speaker is made equally, so the experience may not be the same for you. To the left of the spectrum, you'll notice a spike. Despite this it's not overly bassy. The spike is because low frequencies travel far distances and the calibration mic is rather eager shall we say. As you can see it's spiky and not exactly flat, but we're hoping for a healthy average - It's nearly impossible to get a perfect flat line given the limitations of car play/HK/iDrive. This is a reference EQ, as in start from here and adjust to your liking. I prefer a little bit more bass, so I've dialled 57Hz to 7. I recommend listening to "Chan Chan", which has a variety of instruments and sounds spanning across the entire frequency range. https://open.spotify.com/track/5sbw5...RbWL7YomcBycAA Last edited by mastrchee; 01-24-2020 at 06:45 PM.. |

Hi guys.
I've installed an Andream unit to my f30 2013. No sound thorough the carplay - all connected and working, AUX selected on NBT and still nothing, ALso tried Android and still no sound. I have updated the unit to the last software. Any suggestions? Thanks |
