Time to install depends on the speed of USB. I used Ultra USB and it took me under 20mins to install Europe Premium.
It's perfectly safe to leave the car only with ignition on, since even if the car goes to sleep mode update will continue where it stopped once the power is restored.

Which program is best choice?
I've already tried FSC.exe, but it didn't work as it probably needs 32Bit computer system.

I already have the car's FSC grabbed via Esys.

Is it still not possible to have Premium Europe West + East maps at same time on CIC?

FSC.exe works fine on 32-Bit or 64-Bit Windows.

No, you can only have either West or East installed at any given time.

Why do you say it does not work? Do you get MS-DOS error when you execute it?

If program runs without error, then it is compatable with Operating System. Now if you run program and get no code, or wrong code, then the issue is something with your process, and not the program itself.

Yes, it showed me some error. Unfortunately I don't remember anymore what exactly. But it was something with not accessible and 32-Bit.

Hi stmilosh! And thank you for giving me hope... Maybe you can help me out with my problem:
I have a E87 with 2010s maps which i would like to update. I've already downloaded the maps but am unable to pull the fsc-file from the car.
For diagnosis etc. i am successfully using ediabas / inpa with the obd connector. From what i've read online i can only pull the fsc through an ENET cable, which i have purchased and tried.
I have made according changes to the ediabas.ini (both manually and with a configurator software).
I have tried several different IPs, the closest i could get to accessing the cars computer was an error message, that password or username was incorrect.
But what puzzles me is this: In windows, under network and adapter settings it says that i don't have network connectivity. Is there anything else i need to make sure? Something more basic, like only allowing for ipv4 and not ipv6, setting the LAN network in some specific way? I feel like my problem is in the network settings, since even itoolradar doesn't show any IPs.
I hope you can help me out, i have tried to access the fsc through browser, filezilla and the SWID software, additionally tried it under linux, but no luck.
Maybe you can give me an idiots step-by-step instruction on how to get this file? That would really help me out!!!

One question: You said you generated the 1B File for your F30, but in the SWID software you checked E-Series. Is that right or do you actually have an E-Series BMW?
In both cases: What were your network settings in windows? (e.g. in adapter settings did it show you were connected to a network? was it a private 'home' network or anything else? In what order did you set it up to achieve connectivity: Plug in cable -> turn on engine -> turn on LAN?)

The code does not work for Premium NA 2016 maps, wondering if I have a corrupted utility or lookup.xml?

What problem are you having? Does E-SYS not launch? Can you not select connect via VIN? Do you see the options to choose your chassis type? If so are you choosing the right one (not DIRECT)?

I've made progress: was an misconfiguration in VMware.
Used Esys and was able to Store FSC. Afterwards I opened DOS and used 'nbt.exe xxxx.fsc 0xA8 0x27'
I got a code, but however the car says it's wrong..
Updated yesterday, (no code asked), but when starting the car this morning it asked for a code.
I noticed there was a lookup.xml file in that folder as well( where nbt.exe is). However I did not change anything in that file. Do I need to make changes there too beforehand?
Is 0xA8 and 0x27 correct? For Europe Next 2016-2
