Is there anyone who could help me please? My navigation is really out of date. The last version was Europe Next 2018-1.
Does anyone know of a reputable place I could download the map update and obtain a FSC code?

Hey Shawn! Thank you for your help in everything so far.

I'd kindly like to request FSC codes for my situation. I had to replace my NBT HU, because of a persistent malfunction. Today I bought a replacement: NBT HU; HW 31; ECE-version.

I read I need to:
1. "virginize" it with "EDIABAS Tool 32"
2. Code it with my VIN
3. Load it with FSC codes

My car's VIN: WBA3X1107FD708628

I have a very little clue what I am doing, but I hope to make up in curiosity and persistence.

You might need donors car vin number in order for code to work

You can either Wipe Donor FSC Codes, and load your OEM ones, or just patch NBT and load a full set of custom FSC Codes. PM sent.

Hi Shawn. Im in the exact same situation as the post above. I have the base system on a BMW F30 that has the dreaded rebooting issue. I have just got a used head unit from eBay with the same part number and should be receiving it today. I have read that I will need need FSC pack for the head unit to fully work. Since I have a after market android screen I don't really need the navigation functions to work as I use android auto on that. All I need working is the sound and Bluetooth to work. Would I need a fsc for these functions to work?

I have also read that I need to change the VIN on the donor head unit and inject the FSC pack into the head unit but I have no clue on how to do this. Is there a guide anywhere I can follow?

Could you please provide a FSC for the the VIN

There is no aftermarket solution for LIVE Map FSC Codes. Best option is to just get map update via ConnectedDrive Portal.

No FSC Code needed for sound and Bluetooth to work, just VO Coding, but you do have an FSC Code for Text-To-Speech, besides Navigation FSC Codes. PM sent.

Yes, otherwise it is coded based on the donor car build / options, not yours. VIN must be set to car VIN.

The replacement head unit. Pluged it in and it all worked well until I rebooted. The Bluetooth no longer works and alot of the menus item are missing. Is this normal? What would the next step be to get all the features working again?

You have to write VIN to Head Unit and Encode it.

Thanks but I'm a not sure how to do this. What software would need to write the vin to the headunit? I have been googling for past hour but there nothing that's really clear non how to do the vin change.
