F31 Boot opening intermittent- easy fix?
All,
I've recently purchased a 2015 F31 330D xdrive (and love it) The boot operated and opened fine from the key fob but the last couple of days it's not opening. It's unlocking but not rising. If I manual push the boot closed so that it locks again then repress the button it opens ok? Is there any adjustment or something that I could do to remedy? Any help greatly appreciated. |

It's probably similar to the other F3x models, where you can adjust tension on the spring.

If you look at the lid's bottom when open, there's a close button. There's a "lock" button next to it.
Press once, try again. If not, sedans have a glovebox switch, might have it too... Just checked, blank panel in the glove box. |
