Hi!

After several BMW's and nine years (!!) with a e61 525d manual as a daily I started looking around for a replacement. As I live in Norway, a country that benefits the owners of electric cars strongly the decision tilted early on towards my point of view for a last hurrah. A fairly fast gasoline car that still feels somewhat new.

After searching through all f31 340i in my area I stumbled upon a Alpina B3 Biturbo Allrad... and it was love at first sight!
Of course I bought it and use it almost daily. Both as a quite functional work-car and on long stretches of adventures.

Thank you 😊

They are so rare that the only attention I get is from a few selected people that know what a Alpina is! Something I enjoy much more than riding around in a car everyone and even the non-car guy think is special

I have always had some sort of wagon, since I like the versatility it gives 🙃 And luckily it's also the style that get my attention.

Some older photos. Still waiting for a replacement camera 📸

If I find out you're selling this car in 10 years, you're asking for it.

You should keep this until the wheel off. Keep it until you're 60. 70.

You'll regret selling it when you do.

I hate selling things so this car will probably be found as a barn find by some future relatives long after I'm gone 😝

Yes I think an X3 Alpina would fit the bill as a second car.

I'm not a fan of stiff and sporty SUV's to be honest 🫣 Often they are trying to hard to be something they're not.

That being said, I have tested the B3 on a track! And it's far away from a race car 😅 It shines the best on twitchy narrow bumpy and technical roads

I would hope that the X3 Alpina is much more refined and road suitable when compared to the X3M comp. but I would always prefer an estate like yours.

Wow that sounds great too

The Norwegian weather is quite dull for the moment with pouring rain and darker evenings. That's probably the reason why I've only taken one picture of the car for the last three weeks 🫣

Now it sits on 19" winter rims and tires. Swapped out the Nokian Hakkapeliita for some Michelin Pilot Alpin this season and are looking forward to some proper snowy roads 😁

Have you thought of installing a full-leather dash from an f80? You'll greatly appreciate the added luxury, especially if you hold on to the car for the long haul.

My plan is to keep it original 😊 But I have considered buying a 335i/340i as a project car I could be creative with while still keeping the Alpina
