If that is just a concept, brakes do not play any role. But these are 3 Series F3X 19" M rims. So it can only be a 4 Series. Maybe Z4 M Performance (LCI). By the pic I would say M235i, but that one is yet far from FEP.

Another possibility (although unlikely) is the mythical Z2.

That jives with 2 of the three rumors that Scott26 gave us. The FEP part I am not sure about.

I don't know if this is the 4 series, I feel like we've seen more spy pics of the F8X M3 than the F32 and the leads me to believe that BMW isn't going to release anything F32 related for a while -- at least until it gets closer to production.

This is probably an M-Sport model (or some variation of M) of some car that's already out. My guess is X3M or M335 (F30).

Can we get a hint as to whether or not the correct guess has already been made?!

I'm gonna guess 3 series GT m-sport given the wheels look the same as the F30 m-sport 19" and Scott's clues.

Seems like an M logo has been covered with black tape

The vertical side vent naturally reminds the 1M, so it would be an M2 but that one is far from FEP

As for M3, although similar to many renders, apparently it is discarded due to M Sport rims/brakes set

So I would vote M Sport 4er but I'd be surprised to see such a bold side vent on a non hardcore M car

So far BMW does not put M logos on the side fenders of the M Sport (contrary to Ausi S-Line models), but the M135i Concept did have one (not the stock model though)

So could be an M435i but again too early for a FEP, or just M Sport 4er provided that BMW starts to put M logos on the fenders of mere M Sport models

But definitely not an M335i as we know that M Performance models' exterior is very closely derived from M Sport (except for a few tiny details like grey blades in the front vents and mirror caps), and we know an M Sport F30 has no such vent.

Good spot!

Although that is a weird place to have an M badge.

The gloss black piece looks to be a vent and if you look closely within the inner crease you can see there is another long slit. If the vent really is functional then i'm going to guess this is an M model in which case since the new 1M and M3 are so far out... Maybe a Z4M to hold entusiasts over while the M3 makes its transition. Just like the last Z4M. Also the vent looks so low on the fender it would look out of place on any vehicle with a large amount of fender space. The Z4 has a short
fender...

Maybe im just doing wishful thinking? Nobody has caught one in testing

To support this idea even further. The E92/3 are both about to go out of production. The F80 M3 we wont see until 2014... And even then thats the concept (?). Thats a big gap that a Z4M could fill.

Well, the size of the wheel appear to be small, so probably it's not the new ///M3. Most probably it is the F30 3 series with the BMW M Performance parts. Do keep in mind that pictures do not justify enough unless one has actually seen it in real life.

Long time lurker, just registered to participate in this thread! Here are some photo comparisons, which all point towards the car being an F30-based car. I compared the picture to a normal F30 M Sport. As you can see, the wheels are identical. Furthermore, F30's are being delivered on Pirelli P-Zeros. Also, you can notice the fender line being evident (and identical) on both the white "secret" car, as well as this Estoril Blue one. Hence, we can exclude possible X4's, 1-series' and Z4M's.

Still in doubt?

I found some spy-vids of the F32 on Youtube. The camo seems to be outwards bending just by the spot where this secret car shows an air-inlet/curtain.

The first picture shows one of the test cars on the Nürburgring.

This second picture shows another car, with the exact same outward-bend in that exact same spot.

And the left side..

As can be seen by the registration plate, the pictures are showing two different cars. I'm sure this is the new F32. So stoked! However, I'm confident it will first be presented in Concept form, just like the new 6-coupe was released. On another note, it could also very well be the new F34 GT or F36 GC - although this does not seem in line with the release schedule of the coming cars.

F32 M3 or F82 M4 I can't see the none-M cars having an air intake behind the front wheel like that. Although they're the same wheels and tyres as on my 330D so go figure ...

but can u see an M car not having slotted or cross-drilled brakes? or brakes this small? or f30 msport wheels? i mean look at the hardware ... it doesnt say M. To me that speaks more than what we may see with this air curtain idea ...

I can't, no. That's why it's such a contradiction. I'd be amazed if they chav up the F32 with plastic air intakes but then what are my wheels doing on an M car?
